The 17th edition of the Eni Award took place on October 8, 2025, at the Quirinale Palace in Rome, in the presence of the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, alongside Eni Chairman Giuseppe Zafarana and CEO Claudio Descalzi. Widely regarded as one of the most prestigious international awards in the fields of energy and environmental research, the Eni Award celebrates excellence in scientific innovation, with a strong focus on energy transition, environmental protection and sustainable development, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
As part of the initiatives dedicated to sustainable entrepreneurship, Koalisation Società Benefit was recognised within the Eni Joule for Entrepreneurship framework for its work in high-integrity carbon finance and environmental regeneration projects developed in partnership with local communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. This recognition highlights the growing importance of impact-driven business models capable of combining innovation, environmental responsibility and social value creation, reinforcing the role of startups as key enablers of a fair and sustainable transition.
