The collaboration between Koalisation and WELDING DUEBI S.R.L. was born from a clear need shared by many B2B companies: turning sustainability from a line in a report into a concrete lever for competitiveness, social impact and ESG positioning.
Together, we chose to go beyond simple carbon offsetting, connecting Welding Duebi’s climate commitments to high-impact projects in Zambia: clean cooking, agroforestry and technical training within our local hubs, where emission reduction translates into access to cleaner energy, forest protection and new economic opportunities for local communities. For an industrial company, this means integrating decarbonisation with a solid, verifiable narrative, made of impact data, real stories from the field and transparent governance, able to engage clients, partners and financial stakeholders.
At the heart of this partnership is the welding workshop: together, Koalisation and Welding Duebi have contributed to the opening of a welding lab and training school in Zambia’s Copperbelt region, where young people learn a marketable trade and at the same time support the construction and maintenance of infrastructures connected to environmental regeneration projects.
This is not a one-off course, but a structured training path that combines safety, hands-on practice, industrial standards and work on real projects, with Welding Duebi’s industrial expertise directly shaping the curriculum and key skills required by the sector. In this way, the investment in carbon credits and ESG projects becomes part of a broader corporate strategy: developing local talent, strengthening the regional value chain and contributing to the stability of an ecosystem that generates shared environmental and social value over the medium to long term.
